Today is the exclamation point of straight week's worth of rain. Tiny typhoon today. Rain and wind have been really strong. People seem to take it stride though. One thing I notice is that at supermarkets or banks or anywhere really on rainy days, they put out plastic bags designed to fit your umbrella, or kasa so that when you go inside your dont drip your soaked umbrella all over the floor. Kinda makes sense.
Apparently this weather is also caused by the change of seasons, or kisetsu kawarime. Its started to get cooler, which is good cause the humidity can be kinda rough. Some upcoming fall foods to look forward to are kaki (persimmons)and kuri (chesnuts). Another fall favorite thing to do is dokusho, or reading books. Not sure why fall is an especially good time for that...I heard because you dont feel like reading when its really hot or really cold..I guess that makes sense. I just hope the rain lets up a little.
More later...
